Bellydancing
Beginner Level
Class Format:
This class is a beginning class and covers the basic movements of classic Egyptian-style bellydancing: hip movements—circles, drops, extensions, locks, shimmies, and more. Isolation, dance posture, arm and hand technique, and upper body work are also covered. Depending on student, Bellydancing Beginner Level may include veil and zill work. Original choreographies by Samira are included. Each class will start out with a 10-minute warm-up, followed by 50 minutes of intense instruction, with individual attention for each student.
Class Attire:
Students should wear close-fitting, yet comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Soft, flexible shoes may be worn, and/or bare feet are acceptable.

Classes will be taught at Samira’s private studio in Orange Park.
